5 Year Warranty on Timber Hardware
The Timber used on your furniture has a 5 year warranty from the date of purchase for workmanship, splitting, warping and Veneer lifting. For this warranty to apply, the timber must be cleaned in accordance with the guidelines outlined on the timber care instructions supplied with this product. Please note this warranty does not cover defects arising from negligence or misuse such as soiling, fading, scratching, damages caused by accidents or imprudent cleaning.
3 Year Warranty on Frame
The frame of your COMPANION COUCH Furniture has a 3 year warranty from the date of purchase. The frame comprises of the wooden frame, and or webbing, where applicable. Our total liability with respect to the frame is limited, at our option to, the replacement of the frame or to repair the frame.
1 Year Warranty on Foam, Springs and Fills
The foam on your COMPANION COUCH Furniture, including seat, back and arm cushioning, has a 1 year warranty from the date of purchase on obvious factory defects. Softening of padding and cushions will occur over time, this is a characteristic of foam and springs. It will cause light creasing, wrinkling and slight stretching of the covering (fabric or leather) which is considered to be normal wear. Sitting on one area of a sofa will cause that seat to soften more than the others.For even wear, alternate your choice of seat regularly. Springs naturally soften over time - and is characteristic of the model of furniture that we sell (as soft as possible). Leaning on armrests for extended periods of time will cause indentations, so it is necessary to regularly model (like you do with a duvet) the arm pads to minimise crushing. If your furniture has our soft fibre seat fill (on top of our standard pocket springs), back or arms, expect this to show signs of softening more than normal foam, this is a characteristic of the softer plush feel which comes with fibre and will require regular modelling to maintain its shape.Please note, the 1 year warranty does not cover the softening or crushing of fibre arms, backs, seats, or creasing, wrinkling and stretching of any coverings.
1 Year Warranty on Electricals
Where powered mechanisms are fitted to COMPANION COUCH Furniture, such as our charging dock, there is a 1 year warranty from the date of purchase on all electrical components. This warranty is void if no form of power surge protection is provided in home or place where this chair is being operated.Do not allow electrical cord to be pinched between moving parts or between the frame and the floor. Do not place cord under carpet or in location where cord can be worn.Our total liability with respect to the powered mechanism is limited, at our option to, the replacement of the powered mechanisms or the repair of the powered mechanisms.1 Year Warranty on FabricAll fabric coverings have a 12 months warranty from the date of purchase. Please note the warranty does not cover fabrics provided by other suppliers or defects arising from negligence or misuse such as soiling, fading, wrinkling, creasing, pilling, accidents or imprudent cleaning. Please refer to product labelling underneath the footrest or underside for the recommended covering care treatments. Our total liability with respect to the fabric is limited, at our option to, the replacement of the fabric or the repair of the fabric.

Applicable in Australia only.In Australia our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to major failure.
